Surface Electromyography and Muscle Fatigue This is the whole apparatus. The electrode is connected to the aluminum box with a 3ft CAT5e (twisted pair) Ethernet cable. The black and yellow anti-static wrist-strap is the reference electrode.
The aluminum box contains a power-conditioning circuit, a band-pass filter, and a variable gain amplifier (0.1-10).
The electrode contains two buffers and an instrumentation amplifier. The contacts are 1mm diameter silver wire (99.9% pure) separated by 1cm. |
